Closed Captioning Accessibility Demonstrations (featuring Amara)

This page will show you an actual example of Closed Captioning from the tool, Amara.

To note, my capture software on my computer unfortunately wasn't accessible at the time of making these captions, so I had to manually record the scene from my iPhone. I also had to manually upload the video and convert it from a .MOV file to a .mp4 using CloudConvert.com to register on the page, as a .MOV file would only play an audio bar, much like what is seen on my Index Page and some labs. Apologies for the slightly lower cinematography, as it would have been recorded much cleaner with my computer's Xbox Game Bar Capture Tool.

Using the website Amara, I created captions for this YouTube Video: Monsters Inc. (2001) - Final Battle Against Waternoose

Monsters Inc Amara Captions

Here is a screenshot showing my progress and how I individually included each of the captions. I carefully listened and read through each scene to make sure the captions were correct, so hopefully it looks good!
